Mess is More (Soap Opera Digest 3/27/07)
Forbes March (Nash) is doing his best to inject some realism into the
Nash/Jessica/Tess/Antonio relationships. "Here are two people -- by that
I mean Nash and Jessica -- who have separated after a great and passionate
love story, who share a child, are trying to move on, but still harbor feelings
for each other, and have to come terms with their desires and consider the
people around them people they don't want to hurt," he explains. "It's not
easy to spell out in simple terms. But I think if you just leave out the
[Tess] multiple-personality-soap-opera plot point, a lot of readers will
be able to relate because I know I'm not the only one with exes around or
divorce in the family. We live in a country where divorce is now the norm,
but no rules or rtiquette for its aftermath exists. It's a mess, a Messica
[laughs]!"
