The Hot Zone (Soap Opera Digest 1/24/06)

What was the funniest thing that's happened while you guys were shooting?
Bree Williamson: We were doing this scene where we were both Rollerblading around and were going into Nash's New York apartment, and I think on the second or third take he fell on his Rollerblades as we were going in.
Forbes March (laughs): I was showing off. There was a lot of pressure on me. We're both Canadian, and I'm supposed to know how to play hockey, which I can't do any more, so I'm supposed to know how to Rollerblade. I was trying to live up to expectations and I completely fell on my ass.
Williamson: It was funny.
March: Yeah, everybody found it delightful.

What is it like doing the steamy scenes together?
Williamson: Forbes is so cute and sweet; he gets kind of embarrassed and laughs a lot.
March: I'm glad she referred to me as cute. I just feel clumsy and awkward.
Williamson: His face turns red. He's just very, very sweet with the whole thing. He came from [sci-fi show] Mutant X, so I'm not sure he's used to it. Now he's in his boxers in bed with this girl.
March: I hate doing those scenes! It's like a no-win situation. If you get into them, it's embarrassing and excruciating and as publicly belittling as one could imagine it would be. And on the other hand, you gotta go for it because everyone's watching to see if you're any good in the sack. Meanwhile, half of the people around you are just chit-chatting about whatever their baseball team is doing.

Why do you think you two have such good chemistry?
March: We try to bring whatever was going on right before the camera on with us for the camera. I have a really great time working with her. It's so refreshing to be able to just step on and enjoy the groove.
Williamson: I don't think a day goes by that I don't tease Forbes. He's a very, very good sport. He's a good guy to work with. He keeps it very light and fun. It really was the right casting.
