Standout Scene: Battle of the Beaus (Soaps In Depth 11/22/05)

Tess has managed to escape from Llanview and settle down in wine country with Nash, but it was only a matter of time before Antonio came looking for Jessica. As he scouted out Brennan Winery, Nash spied him outside. Hammer in hand, he waited for Vega to come in, and immediately, the fun began. Learning that Tess had called him her ex, Antonio remained calm. "Is that what she told you?" With a hint of danger, Nash let his "guest" know that he wasn't welcome. "I don't give a damn who you are; just leave her alone," he warned. The normally grinning dude was suddenly dead serious. But so was Antonio, and they faced ech other like two lions in a cage. Who would crack first? Antonio never blinked as Brennan told him that he was part of Tess' past. "She doesn't want you anymore," he growled. He threw down the hammer and looked ready to take his rival out with his bare hands. The small cottage crackled with tension as Antonio looked straight at his rival and told Nash the one thing about Tess that he didn't know: "She doesn't exist." As Nash's face registered confusion, we sat on the edge of our seats for the competition to come. It wouldn't be friendly, but it was sure to be fun!
