FORBES MARCH

This is Forbes's official ABC.com biography from 2006. It is therefore a bit outdated.

Born in Bristol, England, and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Mr. March was a pre-med major for one year at McGill University in Montreal. Following his heart instead of his head, his attentions took him to Vancouver where he held many jobs to pay the bills, one being a door-to-door watch salesman. It was selling watches that led Mr. March to his first break.

Instead of showing him the door when he entered with his watch case, the Charles Stuart modeling agency signed him in their acting division. Subsequent auditions led to Mr. March's television debut in the Canadian series, Northwood.

When the show was cancelled after the next season, Mr. March traveled to Milan, fell in love with the city and stayed for three-and-a-half years. During this time, he modeled all over Europe for clients which included Armani and Tommy Hilfiger.

Mr. March's modeling career eventually landed him in New York where, in 1998, he enrolled in the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. It was while here that he auditioned and won the role of Scott Chandler on All My Children.

Following All My Children, Mr. March landed roles in both film and television. Among his film credits are Dirty Love, Off Broadway, for which he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the Method Festival, and Campfire Stories. His television credits include a guest starring role on C.S.I., series regular on Mutant X, and the MTV pilot Shotgun Love Dolls.

Fluent in Italian, the musically inclined Mr. March has studied piano, French horn, guitar and voice. He loves all outdoor sports including canoeing, hiking and snow skiing.

He resides in Manhattan with his wife Vanessa and daughter Marina.
